The ELUHA boxed awning stands out for its clean, straight lines, reflecting current architectural trends. It’s a perfect model for minimalist facades, as it harmonizes with the essential functionality that characterizes these buildings.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this cassette awning offers advanced technical features befitting a high-end product, ensuring its installation and operation meet the highest expectations for quality and durability.
Its side panels are all made of aluminum; this important detail adds value to the overall design, enhancing its beauty with its elegant aesthetic.
If you are looking for clean shade, zero visible canvas, and an elegant finish that can withstand wind and sea spray, the cassette awning is your best ally. At Eluha, we have 25 years of innovation in sun protection, manufacturing and installing custom-made solutions for Marbella, Costa del Sol, Fuengirola, Estepona, San Pedro de Alcántara, Benahavís, and Sotogrande. During our visits, we usually say: “If you want the fabric to last and the facade to look impeccable, let the cassette do the work—even when you forget about it.”
The cassette protects the arms and the canvas when closed, and this is especially noticeable with the Levante (easterly wind). On penthouses and West-facing properties, we usually recommend incorporating a wind sensor: “On a penthouse, the sensor isn’t an extra; it’s peace of mind.”
The cassette encapsulates the canvas, preventing dirt, birds, Saharan dust, and radiation from affecting it when not in use. The result is long-lasting color stability and fewer deep cleanings.
Compact profile, square or rounded lines, lacquering to match the window frames, and invisible screws. If you ask us for aesthetic advice: on modern facades in San Pedro, the square cassette looks fantastic; in more classic settings, a rounded cassette softens the overall appearance.
Price from: €850 installed. This is a starting point for a base width/projection without a motor. What factors change the price?
The larger the line (width) and the projection, the higher the mechanical and profile demands. In Sotogrande, for example, we usually install cassettes with reinforced arms for open terraces.
Acrylic or technical fabric, weight, anti-mold treatments, and resistance to sea spray. In Estepona, due to the marine environment, we prioritize fabrics with a marine treatment and appropriate hardware finishes.
Manual or motorized, with the option of a wind/sun sensor and app control. Our rule of thumb: “If you use the awning daily, motorization is a must; the awning that gets used is the one that lasts.”
Includes: technical visit, measurement, custom manufacturing, and professional installation. Warranty and maintenance: we define these on a personalized basis once the installation and its components have been agreed upon.
Manual is more affordable; motorized provides comfort, less strain on the arms, and better tension management. For commercial premises or large terraces, we highly recommend a motor.
The sensor retracts the cassette if the wind picks up; the sun sensor extends it when the heat intensifies. With the app, you can program schedules and check whether it is open or closed from your phone.
Straight or wavy valances, integrated LED lighting under the cassette, matching RAL lacquers, and side caps that seal the aesthetic. Small extras, great results.
It closes completely and protects the canvas and arms best: ideal for frontline beach properties or highly exposed terraces.
Visually lighter, good protection, and a controlled budget. It works very well on sheltered balconies or patios.
Square (contemporary look) vs rounded (soft lines). In San Pedro and Benahavís, we usually combine a square cassette with black or anthracite window frames for a very modern look.
We typically respond within 48–72 hours. We take measurements and review the orientation and actual shading at different times of the day.
We provide 2–3 clear options: manual/motorized, with or without sensors, recommended canvases, and finishes. “We prefer that you compare on paper what you will see hanging on your facade.”
The cassette and canvas are manufactured to the exact measurements of the space. Dates and deadlines are confirmed with you (depending on workshop workload and finishes).
We protect the area, install everything, and leave it tidy. If you have an old awning, we can remove it.
Penthouses with Levante wind and high radiation. Here, we usually install a motorized system + sensor and highly color-fast canvas.
Facades exposed to humidity and sea spray. We propose resistant hardware and lacquers, and canvases with anti-marine spray treatment.
Frontline beach and constant breezes. “In Estepona, a full cassette isn’t a luxury; it’s common sense.”
New builds with a minimalist aesthetic. Square cassette, lacquered to match the window frames, and a straight valance for a clean finish.
Shifting shadows and microclimates. We adjust the projection to make the most of useful shade without blocking the views.
Open terraces and crosswinds. We reinforce the arms and fine-tune the wall alignment for a perfect closure of the cassette.
